i want to make WIFI ZONE in 3Km speed only 3 mb at most.

I am new in this wifi world..so let me come to point..

sorry i do not know russian so here i am using google translator.

Actually i want to start wireless internet in my area, so i am confused about dbi, db, and distance and alot antenna. i did not have study about wifi so i could not understand this unique code like dbi and more ...

but i read alot about dbi so i get one information about FA-20 Panel antenna thats distance support around 2-3 km line of sight.. but in my area there is alot building which height is around jus around 20 m.

so what i was thinking...in my building ..at top i will put one another piller which height will be around 15m then i will hanged my FA-20 (20dbi i think) antenna. after this what distance i will get....and one more thing..i do not need high connectivity like i do not want to download at the rate 6-7 mb per sec...i need only just 2mb normal and at most 3 mb per second.. at this speed how far i can achieve my signal..

First you must assure if there will be a direct visibility between your antenna and your clients' antennas. Under this condition you can broadcast withing distance you want to. Also there are many other very important things you should learn. I would strongly advice you surf net and read all about wifi, radio, nets, speed sharing, counting and more

thanks for reply....but this is not my field...but still try alot..and after alot time i spend den i got this website..im reading daily not im not getting ....

i got alot information....means like wt is dbi... and db..omini dirction many thing..antennas...but i didnt get exact result...

and about visibility so i dont kno think so ...that will b visibile cuz that is in residence area and almost all building is 45m ...so i cant see that antenna after 1.5 km i think....

but i got information from one fourm i dont kno where is that...someone told he used FA 20 something antenna line of sight and he got signal around 3 km far and at rate of 9 mb...so my criteria is simple i dont need high rate...normal person use i think 256 kb and 512 kb and some will use 1 mb ...if ill provide net...but at most only 2 mb...so i want at this rate wanna use signal in 3m radius ...........simple...

Visibility between all antennas is a must. If one omit this, i dont give him a damn that his clients get 512kbps or even 256 kbps. This is a base point. Really wifi waves can come through walls, trees and other obstacles, but such propagation can not be calculated, this is just a chance.
As it was trully said above in Russian, ask concrete questions concerning something in pieces you can't get, not global "how to", coz its impossible to give you full lecture course on wifi here.
FA-20 is a good antenna but not a panacea or a "wallbreaker" :)
